Success at Emrys Lloyd & Charles Adams

Russell Swords members had great success at the recent Emrys Lloyd and Charles Adams competitions in Cardiff.

Chris Powell, Iolo Westacott, Gareth Crowther, Alex Morgan and Elinor Robinson all represented the club at the event, which took place in the Welsh Institute of Sport. Chris Powell dominated the Men's Foil, finally defeating Pembroke's Gareth Bence to take the Gold. Iolo also performed well taking home the Bronze after a narrow defeat to Gareth.

Finally, Elinor's Silver in the women's foil is particularly impressive given that she's only been fencing for a relatively short time. Congratulations to all our competitors
